The Council (Board)

The Council is elected from within the membership annually. There are twelve members of Council and the Branch Executive is made up of the following office bearers:

Branch Executive:

Treasurer - Dr Steven Kennealy

Secretary - Dr Jo-Anne Benson

Councillors:

Councillors for 2006-2007 are Dr Peter Sharp, Dr Peter Wilkins, Dr Sonia Res, Dr Charles Howse, Dr Harry Eeman, Dr Simon Ussher and Mr David Corbet (AMSA representative).

Committees

Committee convenors can coopt members to the committee to consider specific issues, and to make recommendations to the next convenient meeting of council (or executive).

Members wishing to be involved in the affairs of their association are invited to nominate for committee membership and should contact the executive officer, Christine Brill.
